About the Journal
The IFHAM INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HALAL ECOSYSTEM STUDIES is an international, peer-reviewed academic that addresses the growing need for a holistic and multidisciplinary scholarly platform in the field of Halal and Muslim-Friendly development.
The journal is initiated through a strategic collaboration between International Future of Education Association (IFEA), IFEA (M) Sdn Bhd (as Publisher and Operator) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) (as Academic and Scholarly Partner).
Unlike single-sector journals, the ecosystem-based approach reflects the contemporary reality of Halal development, which involves interconnected food systems, business practices, logistics, tourism, finance, governance, and sustainability considerations. This positioning ensures long-term academic relevance and avoids over-specialisation that may limit growth or international appeal.
The editorial board invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of Islamic and legal studies to submit high-quality scholarly articles for consideration. All submissions undergo rigorous peer review by experts prior to acceptance for publication. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their published articles.
It aims to create a dynamic platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in the fields of Islamic and legal studies. In an increasingly interconnected world, the journal seeks to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic scholarship and contemporary legal thought, providing scholars, practitioners, and students with cutting-edge perspectives on issues that shape both domains.
