Revenue Sources and Publication Charges
The IFHAM International Journal of Halal Ecosystem Studies operates under a non-profit-oriented, sustainable academic publishing model to support open-access dissemination while safeguarding editorial independence.
Revenue Sources
The journal’s operational costs are supported through the following sources:
1. Article Processing Charges (APC)
An APC is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
2. Institutional Publishing Support
Support from academic institutions, research centres, or organisations through publishing arrangements or journal development initiatives.
3. Special Issues and Thematic Collections
Special issues may be organised with academic or institutional partners. All submissions to special issues undergo the same independent peer-review process as regular submissions.
4. Grants and Academic Support
Where applicable, funding support from academic, educational, or research-related grants for journal development and capacity building.
Editorial Independence and Transparency
• Revenue sources have no influence on editorial decisions.
• Acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is based solely on academic merit, following peer review.
• The Publisher does not interfere in editorial judgment or peer-review outcomes.
